Bill Merritt is one of the founding members of the partnership. He graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa in 1974 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and obtained his professional designation as a Chartered Accountant in 1976. He is a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and the Canadian Tax Foundation.

Bill is now retired as a full time partner, but remains actively associated with the firm working on a wide range of client engagements on a part time basis.
